2009/2010 ANNUAL REPORT:

This Committee promotes law-related education in Maryland schools to educate students about the law and presents the statewide High School Mock Trial Competition, in which 42,000+ students have competed. Its programs include the Law Links High School internship project, the Baltimore City Teen Court, MYLaw Summer Academy and several peerconfl ict mediation initiatives. It also produces curriculum, publications, videos and computer software in law-related education, confl ict resolution and violence prevention and provides teacher training. The Committee, in conjunction with MSBA’s Public Awareness Committee, sponsored MSBA's Law Conference in May highlighting the Association's Messaging Competition on "The Bill of Rights."
