2009/2010 ANNUAL REPORT: |
This Section launched the Maryland Business Law Blog , focused
exclusively on judicial developments in Maryland business
law (including trial and appellate courts, as well as opinions
that may not otherwise be published), in September. In
conjunction with the Taxation Section it sponsored a joint
social and educational program on business trusts in March,
and in April held the Sixth Annual Business Law Institute,
which featured eight continuing education panels as well as
speaker Anirban Basu discussing the Climate of Business
in Maryland. It will sponsor two programs at the MSBA
Annual Meeting: Workplace Fraud – How to Detect It and
Deal with It, and Bargaining with the Devil, cosponsored
with the Alternativ
